For the last three years we have been part of the Big School Showdown, a fabulous competition organised by the team at Heart Yorkshire. Local school teachers are nominated by their pupils to take part in a 10-question quick-fire quiz in an attempt to win every child in their class a bike courtesy of us here at Wilco Motosave.
The competition has been on air for the past 10 weeks, with excitement levels steadily building!

The results are now in! Kelly Heddon, a year two teacher at Hightown JIN School Junior, Infant and Nursery School, came out on top, answering all 10 questions correctly in an impressive 33 seconds!
Breakfast show hosts Dixie and Emma presented Mrs Heddon with a trophy, then we surprised the teacher with a bike of her own! This is the first year that we have rewarded the teacher with their own bike and we were very happy to present Mrs Heddon with one of our beautiful heritage cycles from the Wilco range.
